Can different families, with individually online-booked reservations, be seated together?
Yes. These reservations can be booked separately online, but someone must call 855-632-7729 to confirm the combined seating request as seating options are not offered online. A request made the day of travel will be considered but cannot be guaranteed.
Discounts are available for groups of 20 seats or more. For every 20 paid for seats, one complimentary seat will be provided.
A deposit of 25% of the total group fare is due 60 days prior to the ride date. The balance is due two weeks prior to departure. In the event travel is booked less than 30 days from the ride date, the total group fare is due upon receipt of the agreement. A credit card will need to be provided in case a check has not been received within the allowed time, or the contact person is traveling and unable to make a timely payment. The deposit will not be refunded if the reservation is canceled less than 30 days from scheduled departure date.
**When booking special events there are no discounts available.
Because of special, incidental or consequential situations that may be out of our control, Texas State Railroad reserves the right to adjust our operation between the date of your booking and the day of departure. These changes could include (but not be limited to):
Locomotive power for the day
Passenger car assignments
Layover and/or meal time during the four-hour ride
Departure and/or arrival times

Your credit card will be charged for the full amount within 24 hours of receiving your booking.
General Booking Cancellation Policy
Tickets are fully refundable with a 72-hour notice.
Refund request within the 72-hour notice period will be charged a $15.00 cancellation fee per ticket.
No-shows are not refunded.
