Join us for an unforgettable Easter experience aboard our Easter Lunch Train! Embark on a scenic 4-hour round-trip adventure through the breathtaking Piney Woods of East Texas. Departing from the historic Palestine, TX Rail Depot, our journey will take us on a delightful ride through the heart of nature to the charming Rusk, TX Rail Depot.

Immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere and savor the flavors of the season as you create lasting memories with family and friends.

Due to inclement weather and for the safety of our guests and crew, all Texas State Railroad train excursions scheduled for Thursday, June 12, Friday, June 13, Saturday, June 14, Friday, June 20, and Saturday, June 21, 2025 have been cancelled.

What this means for you:

  • All tickets for excursions on these dates are eligible for a full refund or rescheduling, per our standard cancellation and refund policy
