Our adventure begins at the PALESTINE, TX rail depot on June 7, 2025, where we will promptly board the train at 5 pm. We will traverse the tracks to our Rusk, TX Rail Depot whilst enjoying freshly made appetizers and listening to the sounds of the 1920s era tunes. We will disembark at our Rusk Depot and enjoy “The Dave Washburn Jazz Band” performing LIVE while a 1920’s themed dinner is served on the beautifully decorated grounds of the Rusk Depot. Eat, drink and dance your evening away by the lake!
Several pricing and seating options are available. Included in the rates for this event are a champagne or cider toast, freshly prepared appetizers on board the train, dinner and dessert with iced tea or water served on the grounds of the Rusk Depot and a commemorative gift from your visit on “The Speakeasy Special.” Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase on the train and at the depot.
This is an adult-only event and for train excursion ticket holders only. ADA-compliant coaches are available; however, you must book directly with the reservations desk. This is a roundtrip excursion.
All classes of seating will receive a commemorative gift from your journey with us on “The Speakeasy Special”.
